  7. The Estimating module allows for the entry and maintenance of estimates,
  8. assisting the user to produce quotations of manufactured products for
  9. customers.  It has the facility to add on material, labor costs and a
  10. predefined profit, thus arriving at a selling price.  
  11. FEATURES:  percentage markups on entire estimate and detail line; 99,999 lines
  12. per estimate; copy down from Bill of Materials structure or previous
  13. estimates; confirmation of estimate with option of automatic creation of Work
  14. orders and Sales Orders based on estimate information; detailed inquiries on
  15. estimate history; and on-line screen enquiry to other IMPACT modules.
  16. REPORTS:  estimate cost report, estimate quotations, a thousand free format
  17. reports may be designed, customer defined estimate formats, and trial kitting
  18. list.  For best results install the Bill of Materials, Work in Progress and
  19. Inventory modules with the Estimating module.
